On May 20, 2022, the paper of GenoBaits Soy40K array was online. The GenoBaits Soy40K was designed according to the 27 soybeans pan-genome, 2,898 accession variation data and 49 function-aware genes. This genotyping platform well reflected the genetic structure of soybean and performed well in analysis such as gene/QTL mapping and GWAS.

On April 09, 2022, a new episode of the series of “Breeding New Theory” in “Perspective On New technologies” was broadcast by CCTV-10. The name of this episode is “The different soybean”. Dr. Tian and Dr. Xie (another Principle Investigator of IGDB) was invited into the studio, and told a wonderful story of breeding salt tolerance soybean.
